Today's Pug's distant ancestors come from the far east where they were miniaturised from Mastiff's some 2,400 years ago, but in the sixteenth century they found teir way to Holland via the dutch East India company and later arrived in Britain. They became prized companions and this dignified breed has since been popular with both royalty and aristocracy.
The Pug is of great charm and intelligence with an even tempered, happy, lively disposition. The large head has clearly defined wrinkles and eyes described as golobular in shape, making for a thoroughly expressive face. With well-knit proportions and hardness of muscle, the legs are very strong, straight, and of moderate lenght. The high-set tail is curled tightly over the hip, and all this is fitted into an ideal weight.

DON'T TALK CRAP! They're playing! And I don't dress up my dog--I only did so because my friend sent me a shirt from his company and I was making the video to show him! RELAX! :)
